Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini speaks after his team's 3-0 victory over West Brom
Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has insisted that he does not listen to the club's critics.
City look increasingly likely to relinquish their Premier League crown to Chelsea -- they are six points behind and have played a game more -- and face a trophyless season after being knocked out of three cup competitions.
But Belgium international Kompany said he pays no attention to those questioning City's campaign as pressure on boss Manuel Pellegrini mounts.
City look set for a season without a trophy.
He told The Sun:  "If you win you are a winner, but if you lose comes criticism. That really does not do anything to me -- it is so predictable.
"Everything just depends on the results that you get as a team.
"Football is a collective sport, and we just have to make sure at City we win a few games in a row again."
